Mr and Mrs Smith Wedding at Hoar Cross Staffordshire
2 June 2018
When I first met Louise and Sam, I have not met a groom to be so excited about talking to a photographer about their wedding. I first met Louise at a wedding fayre in Burton On Trent. A couple of weeks later Louise and Sam rang me and booked a consultation meeting. Sam was just buzzing and we were bouncing ideas of each other. He knew there and then that I was the one for his wedding (I don’t think Louise had a say in it lol).
As time went by we exchanged emails about ideas for the big day. We met up about a month before the wedding and walked round the venue. They were very excited as the plans were coming together.
The day came and I had to say Louise was very relaxed and calm. Louise had her bridal party round her as she was getting ready, and they were doing a good job making us all laugh. I heard Sam had arrived so I went down to meet him and his party. Same as Louise, Sam was relaxed and calm too.
Hoar Cross Hall is a lovely venue and it’s set amid 50 acres of gardens on an 1871 genteel Elizabethan estate, this venue has a lot of hidden gems for photos. You are really spoilt for choice.
Louise and Sam knew what they wanted from there big day and they sure did it. They had Nigel Fielding The Tamworth Toastmaster. He was very professional from the start to the end. He really did add that special touch to there day.
The cake below was made by the talented Joanna Evans The cake was a challenge, as you can see, it was half wedding cake and half sculptured as a road. It looked pretty awesome and tasted even better.
The whole day was brilliant, both of them were laid back and Hoar Cross did amazing job making everything went to plan.
